This cold weather is beginning to take it's toll on me. I've already given in to buying a pair of boots that I've been wearing every single day and whose soles are starting to wear out - in just two weeks.
They look quite elvish.
Today I bought two cable knit sweaters since the weather forecast shows that the next days are gonna be colder. I know I've told myself not to buy any cold weather garments but looking at how cold it's gonna get, I just can't not. Fall/Winter fashion is cute but 1) expensive, 2) tasking (more layers = more clothes = more laundry), 3) time-consuming. Thank God for Forever 21 and cheap clothes.
I wanna go back to wearing cut-off shorts, a tank top, and slippers every day and everywhere (but I still wanna be in New York)! Honey can't have everything.

Paper Dolls
Chanced upon the H&M Fashion Studio on their website. Their models have nicer faces than Looklet. I like. :)
I've been holding back from buying cold weather clothes but everything in stores are for the current season plus they are all so incredibly cute. Trust me when I say that my self-control is being tested - bad.
Thoughts
It was so noisy in the train on my way home from the Phoenix (with Passion Pit) concert tonight, I couldn't even hear myself thinking. I can't even begin to explain the conversations that I overheard in that train.
But I would choose a noisy train over a silent-with-a-jeepers-creepers-looming-in-the-corner one any day.
Shrug.

My Emmy Awards Red Carpet faves in no particular order:
Mila Kunis in Monique Lhuillier used the prefect shade of red for the red carpet + red pumps. Red tulle dress = red velvet cupcake. Sweet. :)
Rose Byrne in Valentino wore a very pretty dress but I'm not too sure if she carried it well. Wrong clutch and hairstyle.
Leighton Meester in Bottega Veneta = white goddess dress on porcelain white skin + red lips - oily face.
January Jones in Versace made me die.
Kara DioGuardi in Badgley Mischka was perfectly styled. Digging the dark nail color contrast.
Olivia Wilde in Marchesa would've looked slutty if it were worn by someone else and styled differently but everything on her is perfection.
PS. NPH did an awesome job hosting the show. He is hilarious!
Street Beat Boutique
This boutique greeted me while walking along Bleecker. My sister, who has been in the city for quite a while now said, "Everything here is pretty. It's my favorite store!" as we walked in.
And she wasn't lying.
